Silken Spiced Warmth
The chai wallah’s of India are often young men or boys who carry metal pitchers of hot milk which have just been pulled off the fire and infused with hearty handfuls of sweet tea leaves, cloves, cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon. Often there is a proprietary blend of masala spices added, making each cup of chai different from any which came before or any which will come after. Thus, drinking chai in India becomes a practice in slowly sipping as the morning unfolds into a brand new, and different, day. With our own proprietary blend of warm chai spices, we hope to evoke the slow sip, and the exceptional moment of settling in to the prospect of a brand new day.
